I am a librarian with especial interests in metadata management, scholarly research, and user experience. I have served at several academic libraries as an assistant and researcher.
Hello, I am Al P. Schraeder and I have a Master’s of Library and Information Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, an American Library Association accredited program. I have also studied at Greensboro College where I earned a Bachelor of the Arts in English and with Duke University Libraries contributing to research in their Assessment and User Experience Strategy department. It has also been my pleasure to serve as a library assistant at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
I take great pride in working in libraries and in helping patrons access knowledge and enrichment on both physical and intellectual levels. I am familiar with a multitude of information management tools and standards. I am eager to help the curious from every walk of life connect to the information that advances their objectives and growth.
